A word from Ellie, Author & Writer

Thank you for taking the time to browse my website. I don't know about you, but I really like to have a picture of who I am about to work with. I would love to tell you a little bit about me and my life, so that you can see if we would gel as writing partners!

I can usually be found in the Himalayan mountains of India, where I moved to in 2020. I find inspiration from the various coffee shops with great views, and the wonderful characters that India brings me every day. In my spare time, I love to kickstart my motorcycle and find another dangerous mountain path to tackle! I am currently working on several books for imminent release, and I look forward to those being born.

When I am not writing or editing, I like to dive into other passions, as I am also a qualified massage therapist, Ayurvedic Consultant, musician, and silversmith in my Etsy shop, 'Forged by Fyr'.

I published my first book in 2022, and previously I was a ghostwriter for one specific publishing company. I learned a lot during that time about working with multiple editors with varying professional styles and approaches and decided that I would like to use my 5 years of experience as a teacher and autism specialist to help others, not to scare them off writing forever. I do not mind saying that some of those editors made me wonder if I was cut out for this writing life, and I am so glad that I persevered and am now able to help other writers from all backgrounds and experience levels achieve their dreams.

After working as a ghostwriter, I worked on several books for different authors, honing my editing skills and settling on my preferred editing style- Developmental Editing. This allows me to dive deeply, and to care for it as if it were my own. I don't do things by halves, and I love collaboration, so this was a perfect move into editing for me.

I am available year-round owing to my flexible work schedule, allowing me to prioritize the projects I most enjoy working on.

Wishing you the best of luck with all your writing projects, and I hope to meet you on the page.
